Getting to Faro by plane
Faro international airport is only 5 minutes by car to the University of Algarve and 10 minutes to the city centre. Faro international airport offers direct links to a large number of destinations in Europe and outside Europe. Information about these direct links can be obtained in the website:

Arrival by Train or Bus

Getting Around
There are regular bus services from Faro city centre to the University of Algarve (Gambelas campus). If you are staying in the city centre you can catch bus number 18 to “Universidade – Gambelas” and also back to the city center (“Terminal Rodoviário”). This is a frequent circular route operated by the company Proximo. You can find the timetable here:
